Laurel wood strips

Laurel is the symbol of honor for our heroes in any national holiday, when we lay laurel wreaths to commemorate them.

It is special in a unique way, as it has an absolutely amazing aroma that doesn’t exist just in the foliage, but also in its wood during process. The more you smell this aroma, the more you like it. (For the ones that are not familiar with it, I would suggest they find a laurel leaf, crumple it and smell it).

The laurel wood is light colored, easy to process, easy to bend and durable. Laurel is a scarce type of wood and many instrument makers are totally unfamiliar with it.

Nevertheless, it has a special sound and, as I mentioned before, a fantastic aroma. The more one uses the instrument, the more aroma is emitted by the wood and the more motivated we are to use it.
